I have worked in the behavioral health field since 1985. During this time I have worked for notable addiction treatment and mental health agencies in a business development capacity. Over the past 4 decades I have built many referral partnerships to include Inpatient Treatment Centers, Hospitals, Employee Assistance Programs, Member Assistance Programs, Unions, Outpatient Treatment Facilities, Private Therapists, Group Practices and more. My experience includes supervising and building business development teams, defining goals/objectives, developing specific marketing strategies, speciality populations, identifying opportunities and market potential, competition and how best to allocate resources to maximize both existing footprint and projected. I have much experience in providing care coordination based on client’s clinical needs as well as assessment referral services. I have also coordinated many conferences and professional education events for the community.
Since my career began in 1985, I have dedicated my life to working with those who suffer from addiction and mental health disorders within the general population as well as within the veteran and first responder communities. I have served on various committee boards including the Employee Assistance Professional Association, National Council on Alcoholism, and served on the Board as Secretary for the Connecticut Alliance of Recovery Residences. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services from Springfield College and I am Certified Addictions Specialist.
